The Kenya High Commission in Dar es Salaam was established 1984 with a Mandate to promote, project and protect the image and the interests of Kenya and Kenyans in The united Republic of Tanzania. This is in addition to strengthening political, cultural and socioeconomic relations between the two countries. Relations between the peoples of our two countries date back to precolonial times. The people of the two countries share a lot in common. The shared border communities and a common language (Swahili) are notable examples.

Our vision is to effectively discharge our mandate to secure Kenya’s national interest in Tanzania.

Our Mission
Our mission is to strengthen and deepen the existing relations between Kenya and the United Republic of Tanzania for the mutual benefits of the peoples of both countries.
